István Sárváry

István Sárváry was born in 1975. He graduated in 2000 from Saint Stephen University, Hungary, with a Master in Economics. In 2013-14 he was chief manager at the Prime Minister’s Office in the large-scale restoration of Várkert Bazár (Royal Garden Palace). In 2014 he was appointed deputy State Secretary at the Prime Minister’s Office responsible for the revitalisation of outstanding heritage buildings. In 2015 he was appointed President of Forster Gyula National Centre for Cultural Heritage Management. Forster Centre is a professional background institution of the Prime Minister’s Office, responsible for the research, protection and promotion of the long-term sustainable use of cultural heritage.
