Antonia Pasqua Recchia

Graduated in Architecture in 1973 from the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, Antonia Pasqua Recchia joined the Order of Architects of Rome. In 1985, she became Architect of the Italian Ministry of Heritage and Cultural Activities. Since then, she hold several positions within the Ministry: Director of the Service Heritage Documentation in the General Directorate for archaeological heritage (2001), Director General for technological Innovation and Promotion (2004). In 2008, Antonia Pasqua Recchia was appointed Director General for the Archives before becoming Secretary General of the Ministry of Heritage and Cultural Activities in 2011. In parallel, she has been a lecturer at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” since 1996 and gave courses on the theory and technique of buildings, on landscape architecture, or the economy and management of cultural heritage.
