As discussed at the 2022 annual meeting in Edinburgh, the « online library » allows the exchange of good practices between the members to be archived and made available in an easy way. It also gives the possibility for other members to comment what had been said by other colleagues or to add their own experience on the matter
Patrimoine mondial et questions universelles
This section covers World Heritage Sites designated by UNESCO for having cultural, historical, scientific or other form of significance. It also covers other common issues that the cultural heritage sector have in common, such as climate change.
Patrimoine naturel
This section addresses questions related to natural features, geological formations, delineated areas that constitute the habitat of threatened species of animals and plants and natural sites of value from the point of view of science, conservation or natural beauty.
Patrimoine matériel
This section deals with physical artefacts produced, maintained and transmitted intergenerationally in a society. It includes artistic creations, built heritage such as buildings and monuments, and other physical or tangible products of human creativity.
Patrimoine immatériel
This section is about the practices, expressions, knowledge and skills that communities, groups and sometimes individuals recognise as part of their cultural heritage.
Affaires internes de l'EHHF et secrétariat permanent
This sections focuses on EHHF internal matters (organisation, financial contributions, annual meeting, etc.) and questions from the Permanent Secretariat
UN PEU D'HISTOIRE
Un premier Sommet Européen pour le Patrimoine (« European Heritage Summit ») est organisé pour la première fois à Londres en 2006, du 26 au 28 avril, par Simon Thurley, ancien directeur général d’English Heritage. L’objectif de ce Sommet : rassembler les responsables européens du patrimoine culturel afin de leur offrir une opportunité d’échanger leurs expériences et d’initier des actions communes. 23 États européens participèrent au Sommet et décidèrent de continuer à se réunir tous les ans en tant que forum qu’ils nommèrent European Heritage Heads Forum. Les prochains pays hôtes sont désignés sur la base du volontariat et par accord général lors des réunions annuelles.
